Using the Evadoc library and archive materials

Evadoc undertakes the task of mapping historical documents and other library materials of an Evangelical Protestant nature within their Flemish, Belgian and international contexts. We collect these historical documents and other library materials in order to keep them safe and make them available for viewing and consultation.
Using questionnaires and local research, we actively search for archives, magazines, church communications, and audiovisual documentations such as photographs, film, video audiocassettes, etc.

The publications can be accessed and consulted for free. To access archives, you will need to sign an agreement to acknowledge that you will comply with our conditions of use. As the archives are subject to privacy laws, it is their owner who decides how long the archive should be 'closed', i.e. unavailable for viewing/accessing. Materials that we consider to be fragile can be viewed/accessed in a safe and controlled way, after the express written permission has been obtained from their owner or the owner's representative. This may be Evadoc, or an owner who has loaned the materials to us.
