

Who we are
Evadoc is an archive and documentation center for churches, various religious organizations, and individuals from Protestant and Evangelical faith communities. It aims to develop an integrated and comprehensive heritage service and make a significant contribution to the development of the Protestant-Evangelical biography of Flanders. Its work emphasizes the interaction between the Protestant-Evangelical faith community, culture, and society in Flanders (within their Belgian and international context).

What we do

We provide ongoing advice to Protestant and Evangelical churches, organizations, non-profits, and individuals with questions and issues regarding their archives.

Training in the field of archive and library care is provided, either independently or in collaboration with others

Evadoc collects and makes accessible Protestant-Evangelical heritage

Through public initiatives, Protestant and Evangelical heritage is brought into the spotlight.

Collections
The collection includes archives, books, magazines, brochures, posters, and audiovisual publications of Protestant and Evangelical significance published in Flanders (Belgium) and/or pertaining to Protestant and Evangelical Flanders (Belgium).
In partnership with

KADOC
A protocol governs the collaboration between Evadoc and KADOC—KU Leuven Documentation and Research Center for Religion, Culture, and Society. This allows Evadoc to use KADOC's expertise and infrastructure, and KADOC also uses Evadoc's expertise.

ETF
The ETF Leuven is a founding partner of Evadoc and regularly calls on Evadoc's expertise.

Federale Synode
The Federal Synod of Protestant-Evangelical Churches in Belgium is a founding partner of Evadoc.
